Research development & partnerships

We have a limited amount of funding available every year to support organisations or initiatives that may fall beyond the parameters of our strategic programmes, but which we believe have the potential to support our mission, or to improve our knowledge and grantmaking.

More on what we're funding

Funders for Race Equality Alliance and the IVAR Open & Trusting Initiative are examples of organisations helping us improve our knowledge and grantmaking.

In 2024, we were able to use our RDP funding to support work by Unit 38, Stour Trust, and Back on the Map.

These organisations are engaged in work to support the development and ownership of assets by and for communities. This is something we are committed to supporting under our Open Grants and Equity Programmes, and are keen to understand further.
