Improving the lives of people and communities

We recognise that many of our grantees are facing increased and unprecedented difficulties due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We understand that your capital project may now face delays, and/or you may not be able to submit reports on time, and we wish to be as flexible and supportive as possible. If you would like to discuss your current situation or your capital grant, please do not hesitate to contact your grants officer by email or via our online form.

We are increasing our grant-making to support the sector during this crisis. Read about our full response here.

The Clothworkers’ Foundation was set up in 1977 to be the primary vehicle of charitable giving for The Clothworkers’ Company. Since then, we have awarded capital grants of more than £140 million. Today, our primary aim is to improve the lives of people and communities, particularly those facing disadvantage, deprivation and/or discrimination. Registered Charity No. 274100.
